Luton · Venue hire & catering
Room for three hundred.
And the kitchen that made Nawaab famous.
Nikah, mehndi, walima and reception at The Chiltern Hotel, with food cooked by My Nawaab of Manchester.
- 200seated at round tables
- 300theatre-style for a nikah
- 100+bedrooms upstairs

The arrangement
One booking, two names on it.
Most venues hand the catering to whoever is cheapest. Here the room and the food each come from people who do one thing properly.

The room
The Chiltern Hotel
A ground-floor suite a mile off the M1, with a private foyer and bar directly outside it.
- Over 100 bedrooms above
- Dance floor, stage and PA
- Free on-site parking

The kitchen
My Nawaab, Manchester
The kitchen Manchester has booked for banquets since 2002, now cooking for Luton. Same chefs, same recipes.
- Halal throughout
- Pakistani and Indian
- Cooked in Manchester, brought down for your date
The rooms
One suite that becomes three rooms.
Airwalls split it into the Napier, the Wardown and the Someries. Run a mehndi in one while the nikah is set up in another.
Not to scale. Individual room capacities on request.

The food
The part people actually remember.
Ask anyone who has been to a Nawaab banquet what they remember. It will not be the chair covers. The Manchester kitchen has fed rooms of eight hundred since 2002.
Two hundred in Luton will not stretch them.

Questions
The things everyone asks.
If yours is not here, message us. We would rather answer it now than have you guess.
Ask on WhatsAppIs the food halal?
Yes. Every dish is prepared to halal standards by the My Nawaab kitchen, the same kitchen that has been feeding Manchester since 2002.
How many guests can you take?
The Bedfordshire Suite seats 200 at round tables with a dance floor and stage, or holds 300 theatre-style for a nikah. For smaller events the suite divides into three separate rooms.
Can guests stay the night?
Yes. The Chiltern has over 100 bedrooms directly above the suite, which matters when half the guest list is travelling. Ask us about a room block for your date.
Is there parking?
Yes, free on-site parking, and the suite is on the ground floor so there are no stairs between the car park and your guests.
Can we bring our own decorator, DJ or photographer?
Yes. Most families bring their own stage, decor and DJ, and we will give your suppliers access the day before wherever the diary allows. We can also recommend people we work with regularly.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak Saturdays in summer go 12 to 18 months out. Midweek and winter dates are often available at much shorter notice, so it is always worth asking.
What does it cost?
It depends on your guest count, your menu and your date. Send us those three things and we will send back one number that covers the room, the food and the service, with nothing added later.
Do you cater for non-Asian weddings and corporate events?
Yes. The suite and the kitchen handle civil receptions, corporate dinners, charity fundraisers and private parties just as happily.
